CD-ROM Installation and Running Instructions

Thank you for your purchase of Azusa Street on CD-ROM. This CD is not encrypted.

We trust that you will not duplicate this CD-ROM and distribute it to family or friends.  This CD represents thousands of hours of work and we depend on your contributions to keep our web site on the Internet and free to all.  Please tell others about us.

When you insert the CD-ROM it should auto load. You will see a screen that will allow you to navigate or browse the CD.  You can copy the entire CD or any part of it to your hard drive. 

We have made a few enhancements to the CD that you will be pleased with. All you need to browse this CD-ROM is a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader and either IE or Netscape.  The latest release of ADOBE READER Version 6 is included on this CD-Rom in the folder Programs (click here to install). 

A modified version of the Azusa Street Mission located at Dunamai.com's web site is on this CD-Rom, which includes the Azusa Street Mission and Newspapers.  You will find a few web pages that view differently from what you see on the Internet web site and you will find some pages missing as they add little content to this CD-Rom. 

This CD-ROM was inspected and tested before shipping.   All files and programs should load and operate. These programs were installed and executed using Windows 95/98/ME/XP.  This CD-ROM is free of viruses!

To browse the Dunamai.com on CD-ROM there are 2 options: 

     1. insert the CD-ROM into your DVD/CD player and a menu should automatically appear, 

      OR

  1. Start your browser—either IE or Netscape.
  2. Click on “FILE-OPEN-BROWSE”
  3. Click on your “CD-ROM DRIVE”
  4. Double click on a folder of your choice..
  5. Happy surfing!  

    OR
  1. Open Explorer by right clicking your mouse and selecting explore.
  2. Open the CD.
  3. Double click the file of your choice.
  4. Happy surfing!  

To locate the image files of the Azusa Book Like As Of Fire, which can be viewed with most image or graphic programs such as Paint Shop Pro or Microsoft Photo Draw.

  1. Open the CD with a graphics ‘File” option.  
  2. Open the folder “Like_As_Of_Fire”
  3. Open the folder “Newspapers”
  4. Open the folder “Images”
  5. All images are listed by edition and page number. For example: page 1 of edition 1 would be “number_1_1” and page 1 of the last edition would be “”number_13_1”.
  6. The “Author-Subject” images files can be found in folder “Author_Index”.

WARRANTY and DISCLAIMERS 

This Disk is warranted for 127-days from date of shipping and will be replaced.  Any defective disk returned to us at 610 Shawnee Ave.
Cambridge City, IN 47327 within the warranty period will be promptly replaced free of charge.  To return the disk for warranty simply peel off the label as much as is possible mail it to us at the above address. 

Due to the widely known fact among computer users and software designers that any computer using any Microsoft  Windows Operating System--Windows 95/88/ME/2000/XP, can become unstable and unpredictable when any third-party software is installed: for that reason, Dunamai.com does not warrant how any program on this CD-ROM will operate under Microsoft Windows.  Incidents such as “computer or file lockups,” losses of data, inability to save files, and so forth are common Windows OS problems. Dunamai.com will not be responsible for any lost data, time, incidental or consequential damage arising as a direct or indirect result of using any file or program on this CD-ROM DISK and used or installed on any computer system using any Microsoft Windows OS.  If you are unsure how your computer may operate or respond after installing one of the programs included on this CD-ROM, do not install the program(s).
